I've been training with the owners since long before they opened City Fit Shop. The owners, along with the trainers/coaches they employ are there for YOU and to help YOU meet your goals. This is a community, not a "gym" or a "box". If you want to sweat, have fun and make friends - this is your jam! Everyone celebrates your accomplishments and supports you through the tough times. Wonderful place and can't recommend it enough!

FAQ

  • How long is the program?
    The program is 2 months long and starts on the day of your first class.
  • What does the initial assessment include?
    It's a quick 20 minute meeting where we discuss your goals, what you want to accomplish, and show you around the gym. Don't worry we won't try to upsell you!
  • What happens if I miss a class during that week?
    If you miss a class you will be charged $179.00 for that month's membership. The month is only FREE if you complete 3 classes per week every week during each month. Don't worry though. You get reset on the other month so that month will still be free if you complete all your classes. You only get charged if you miss a class that month.
  • What if I am going away during the 3 months?
    You need to be at 3 workouts per week every week. If you miss a week you will simply be charged for that month. That's still 2 months free! We do have livestream classes as well that you can attend. #noexcuses!
  • What is training like?
    The training is in a small group format that focuses on kick starting your metabolism and burning those calories, Though challenging, the coaches are amazing at modifying for any limitations and ensuring all participants work at their level, which ranges from absolute beginner to seasoned athlete.
  • Do I have to be a new customer to sign up?
    This promotion is for new customers only. If you are a member, or punch pass holder, or have been a member previously you are ineligible.
  • What are your gym hours?
    We are open every day. All our classes and gym time can be found on our schedule at https://cityfitshop.com/schedule
  • Does "Open Gym" time count towards my 3 workouts?
    We do have scheduled open gym times for you to come do your own workout. We have a great space and cardio equipment for you to use. We reserve the main area of the gym for classes but you can use the rest for your own workouts, warm ups, cool downs, cardio and more.
    Keep in mind that coming on your own does not count towards your 3 classes. You need to complete 3 scheduled classes per week.
  • What are your coaches prerequisites??
    All our coaches are certified in group fitness and/or personal training. Every coach has First Aid and CPR, and are actively involved in the fitness community.
  • What is the nutrition like?
    We provide you with a guideline for calorie intake based on your lifestyle and a sample meal plan to get you started. We do offer more comprehensive meal plans if you are looking for additional support in this area.
